Reel Canto Films is a growing studio founded in 2025. We value preparation, direct communication, creative curiosity, and calm execution. Our projects are designed for vertical viewing, so every detail—from the opening frame to the final caption—needs to earn its place.
We aim to create an environment where people can ask questions, contribute ideas, and do strong work without unnecessary complexity. On set and in post-production, we respect people’s time, communicate changes promptly, and keep project responsibilities clear.

Freelance collaboration
How we work with independent creatives
Many production needs are project-based. Depending on the brief, we may collaborate with freelance directors of photography, camera operators, photographers, sound recordists, editors, production assistants, stylists, and other specialists.
Before confirming a project, we share the expected scope, schedule, location, deliverables, and responsibilities. Availability requests are not bookings; confirmed assignments are documented directly. We look for collaborators who are honest about their experience, equipment, availability, and working preferences.
Our office is at 1111 Broadway Suite 2700, Oakland, CA 94612, United States, and project locations may vary. Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM PT.
